Ensaimada de Mazapan


At Horno Sto. Cristo, they prepare mazapan ensaimada throughout the year because, although less known than other varieties, they are very appreciated by many people.

It is a sweet dough, fermented and cooked, made from sourdough and lard, filled with marzipan.


WHEAT flour, lard (pure pork, stabilizer (E-471), and antioxidants (E-320, E-321)), marzipan (20%) (ALMONDS, sugar, cinnamon and flavoring (lemon)), EGGS , yeast and bread improver (WHEAT flour, E472e emulsifier, SOY flour, ascorbic acid and enzymes). May contain traces of: milk, soy and nuts.
