Patatas Bravas

Ingredients : (for 4 people)
  • Potatoes 400 g.
  • Onions 130 gr.
  • 1/2 spoon of sweet pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper
  • 2 spoonfuls of flour
  • Caldo of chicken 500 ml
  • Olive oil for frying potatoes

Difficulty : Easy

  • Total time 30 mins.
  • Elaboration 10 min.
  • Cooking 20 mins

For the sauce:

  1. Cut the onions into small pieces.
  2. Add the onions to a pan with 4 tablespoons of olive oil over low heat.
  3. Add the spoonfuls of peppers as soon as the onion takes on color.
  4. Add the flour and stir for a minute.
  5. Gradually pour in the broth and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the heat and grind with a blender.

For the potatoes:

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces.
  2. Pour plenty of olive oil into a frying pan and fry over medium heat.
  3. Remove from the heat as soon as they are golden brown.
  4. Present on a plate with a pinch of salt and parsley.
  5. Place the sauce aside.
