Gambas al ajillo

Recipe for a typical dish of Spanish cuisine:

Ingredients for 4 persons)
  • Raw shrimps 400 gr.
  • 5/6 cloves of garlic
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 spoon of sweet pepper
  • 8 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Peel the shrimp and cut the garlic cloves into small pieces.
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil with the garlic and chili pepper until they are golden brown.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the cut parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper and reduce the heat to low for 2 minutes.

For presentation, pour the contents (also the oil) into an earthenware dish or small frying pan. Accompany with bread.

For the ingredients, peppers can be added depending on the flavors you are looking for. On the other hand, taste your dish after 10 minutes before adding more peppers.
