Bizcocho: A cake of Spanish origin
Ingredients : (for 6 people)
- 150 gr. of flour
- 100 gr. butter
- 3 eggs
- 150 gr. sugar
- 1 packet of dry yeast
Difficulty : Medium
- Total time : 50 min.
- Cooking: 40 min,
- Preparation 10 min.
- Mix the softened butter with the sugar.
- Add the flour, then the yeast, three egg yolks and the lemon zest.
- Mix well to obtain a smooth paste.
- Beat the three egg whites until stiff and incorporate them into the dough.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake in a hot oven for 40 minutes.
- Let cool before unmolding.
